SiltTex® Sediment Bag

SiltTex® Sediment Bags are constructed of heavy, nonwoven geotextile filter fabrics that readily release water while containing sediment.

The SiltTex® Sediment Bag is designed to control sediment discharge in dewatering applications where water is being pumped. The bag is designed to fit at the end of the discharge pipe or hose. When pumped water reaches the SiltTex® Dewatering Bag, the flow is slowed, allowing the suspended solids to settle out. Sediments are captured by the bag as it releases the water.
