Erosion Control Blankets (ECBs)
Construction site restoration is made easy with the use of Temporary Erosion Control Blankets (ECBs). Various degradable fibers such as straw, wood coir or degradable plastics are either woven or mechanically stitch-bonded to various netting materials, and then rolled for easy handling and deployment. Unlike loose fiber mulches, ECBs offer more dimensionally stable protection to better hold seeds and soil in place and encourage rapid growth. Wood or wire staples are used to secure the blankets to prepared and seeded soil. With the variety of nets and fibers available, applications range from low and moderate slopes to more demanding steep slopes and drainage swales.
Landlok 407GR® is a natural looking open weave of photodegradable polypropylene mesh. Even though it contains no natural fibers, Landlok 407GR® will degrade when exposed to UV light. It is perfect for large open areas with low slopes and will offer protection for up to one growing season.
Available in 12.5ft rolls, 432ft long, 600 sy/roll |
Landlok® ECBs are rolled for easy deployment. Each roll is 8ft wide and will cover 100 square yards. |
