Stakes, Staples and Pins
GSI offers a wide assortment of Staples, Stakes and Pins to secure anything from geotextiles to rolled erosion control products. With varying materials, applications and site conditions, it is important to have the correct fastener. You can always count on GSI to have the correct fastener for your project.
Wire Staples are our most versatile and economical fastener. The 4" and 6" varieties are suitable for most ECBs. TRMs generally require the 8" or 12" variety.

For Environmentally sensitive projects where you may be using our “EN” Series ECBs or our Biodegradable Geotextiles, GSI offers natural wooden stakes and biodegradable stakes. Our Greenstakes® are made of naturally biodegradable plastics and will degrade over time.

Fabric Pins are very handy to hold geotextiles in place during installations. They can also be used to secure TRMs in some soft, loose soils. Made of steel they drive easily into most soils and the washer prevents the material from pulling through.

“The Rifle” staple gun (Patent Pending) is the most reliable cartridge stapling system on earth!
Constructed of steel with a open design, getting staples in and out of the gun is easy as 1-2-3. The precision of the “Factor M” cartridge along with a thinner, yet stiffer wire allows for rapid penetration of the staple even through ice and frozen ground. With 100 staples per load you save amazing amounts of time not having to load single staples by hand.
